QA InfoTech talks about exploratory testing at QAI Quality Summit 2008

QAI Quality Summit 2008 was yet another event of its kind with knowledge-packed sessions that covered critical and latest testing issues. Speakers of International repute & gurus from all over the world spoke at the event. The various conferences and presentations by industry experts showed how to turn various theoretical concepts into best practices & achieve outstanding results. It also enabled participants to learn from international experts about the new methodologies & techniques of Software Testing.

Amongst all Mukesh Sharma, the CEO of QA InfoTech also delivered a presentation on ‘A Journey Without Ticket: Simplifying Exploratory Testing’. Mukesh is a young entrepreneur with a proven track record has over 14 years of work experience in QA management. His maverick and stupendous qualities have carved a niche for himself in the exceedingly competitive Software Testing world. He has previously commenced his illustrious career with DCM Data Systems as a Software Engineer. He has a significant national and international exposure, having worked with IBM Corporation, US, Octel (Lucent), Quark Inc, Gale group and Adobe Systems Inc. Thereafter he founded QA InfoTech which is a leading software testing and Quality assurance firm.

Mr. Sharma began by talking about quite a common problem capable of paralyzing the testers – a situation when a product lacks documentation. The solution to this he said was Exploratory Testing (ET)! “ET is emerging as a key to improved quality for every Software Development Project and is a driving factor for the success of a software solution. However, nothing comes for free, one always need to blaze a path to success. It’s so true! Likewise, exploratory testing also presents us with a number of challenges – one of the biggest being managing an unplanned activity.” said Mukesh Sharma, founder-CEO of QA InfoTech.
